The Rock Restaurant
Seasonal dining by the sea
At the water’s edge, The Rock is our restaurant overlooking Freshwater Bay.
Large windows frame uninterrupted views of the sea, while on warm days the terrace opens just yards from the shoreline. The menu follows the seasons, celebrating island produce, fresh fish and comforting plates designed for long lunches and relaxed dinners.
Breakfast begins slowly with coffee and sea views. Lunch stretches into the afternoon. Evenings bring seasonal dishes and a glass of something good as the light fades over the cliffs.
The Library
A quiet corner to retreat
For those moments when the pace slows even further, The Library offers a private residents’ lounge.
Sink into an armchair with a book, listen to music, or simply enjoy a quiet drink away from the bustle of the restaurant. It’s a space designed for calm — a gentle pause between sea swims, coastal walks and dinner by the bay.
Private Dining & Gatherings
Intimate spaces overlooking the sea
The Albion also offers two private dining rooms for smaller gatherings, celebrations or meetings. The Music Room provides an elegant setting for private dinners or small events, seating up to twelve guests, while an intimate dining space beside the restaurant offers sea views and a terrace just outside.
Whether it’s a special occasion, family celebration or a small meeting by the sea, these spaces offer privacy without losing the view.

Seamless island arrivals
Arriving on the Isle of Wight should feel effortless. For guests travelling via the mainland ferry, The Albion offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Yarmouth Ferry Terminal and Marina (advance booking required).

We welcome well behaved dogs under 25kg in one of our 4 dog-friendly rooms, for an additional surcharge. Dogs are not permitted in The Rock restaurant, but they can accompany you to our Cabin Bar when you can dine.
